Silt Sack
Silt Sack is made from a high strength UV stabilised polypropylene, and can be filled with a range of mediums including coarse sand, gravel or wood chips. Erosion Control Silt Sack can reduce sedimentation into combination curb and grate inlets. It is an important part of a comprehensive best management practice approach for site sediment control.
Silt sack can trap the silt but allows water to pass into the sewer. It can be used as a primary or secondary sediment control device to prevent failure of drainage system due to clogging with silt or sedimentation. Maintenance of the silt sack on a regular basis will ensure that the sack will function properly.
Available in two styles
• Regular flow
• High flow
